Cinila’s Personal Playground - the bloody journal

This is my new theme. After a black out yesterday and a real bad internet connection, I’m finally manage to get this theme up. I know probably a couple bugs will found latter, but for now I need to take a shower, refresh my self.

Just to compare to the new one, below is the old layout vs the new one

The Header Images
The snails header created using Photoshop. I made it on August, 2006 and submited to Vox header contest, I didn’t win the contest so I re-touched the header again… adding some details and now hopefully it will make a good header on this blog.

The Content
As I mention before on my latest post, I didn’t like the last theme, because of the lack of flexibility. I can’t post a short post, contain of one or two paragraph only, because it will look ugly, it will create an unbalanced layout… I just don’t like it.

With this new theme, I can post anything I like, a poem, a single image, a short paragraph… it’s make me feel “free” actually…

A Three Column Layout
And this is a three column layout I ever design for this blog. This is new for me, I’m a white space lover, and with three column layout it’s a bit difficult to get the white space as much as I wanted, I have to keep the balance between the white space and column width.

And of course I’ve upgrade the blogtool from 2.0.2 version to the latest version. It’s been a long time since the last upgrade. And It’s feel great to see some changes, I like to write more but I think later… I’ll also write about the plugin I’ve install in this blog.
